Scout's notes

Vintage speaker cabinet manufactured by the Acoustic Control Corporation of Van Nuys, California. The unit features a dual 15-inch speaker configuration housed in a plywood enclosure. The front of the cabinet is covered in a black mesh grille cloth accented by white piping and a rectangular silver-toned manufacturer's badge featuring the word acoustic in stylized blue lowercase letters. The exterior is finished in black Tolex (vinyl) and includes metal corner protectors and a top-mounted plastic carrying handle. Acoustic Control Corporation equipment was highly prominent in the 1970s and was famously used by notable musicians such as Jaco Pastorius and John Paul Jones.
