Scout's notes
This Peavey Horizon is a solid-body electric guitar manufactured in the United States, likely during the 1980s. The instrument features a double-cutaway hardwood body with a contoured top, finished in a three-tone sunburst. It is constructed with a bolt-on maple neck and an integral 21-fret maple fingerboard accented with black dot position inlays. The electronics consist of two blade-style humbucking pickups controlled by three knobs, a primary three-way toggle switch, and two mini-toggle switches for additional tonal configurations. Hardware includes a chrome-finished hardtail bridge with six individually adjustable saddles and a string-through-body design. The headstock is fitted with six-in-line enclosed tuning machines and displays the Peavey logo, the Horizon model name, and the text Made in U.S.A. The guitar is accompanied by its original Peavey-branded black molded plastic hard-shell case, also marked Made in U.S.A. Also included is a patterned textile guitar strap and several plectrums. No serial number was visible in the photographs, though these are typically found on the reverse of the headstock.
