Scout's notes

A modified semi-hollow body electric guitar featuring a Telecaster Thinline-style body paired with a Squier Stratocaster neck. The body is finished in gloss black with cream-colored binding on the top and back, featuring a single f-hole on the upper bout. The bolt-on neck is constructed of maple with a rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays, and 21 frets. The headstock face is marked with the Squier logo and the designation STRAT. The reverse of the headstock is marked Crafted in China with the serial number CY05011693, indicating production at the Yako factory in 2005. The instrument is equipped with two humbucking pickups featuring gold-toned covers, in a configuration resembling a Michael Kelly 59 Thinline model. Hardware includes a gold-toned Bigsby-style vibrato tailpiece, a tune-o-matic style bridge, and a standard Telecaster-style control plate with a three-way selector switch, master volume, and master tone knobs. The guitar is fitted with six-in-line sealed die-cast tuning machines. A black fabric strap is attached.
