This lot features a vintage Carlo Robelli model W-50-TS acoustic guitar, a 3/4 size or parlor-style steel-string instrument. The Carlo Robelli brand is historically associated as the house brand for the United States-based music retailer Sam Ash. The guitar is constructed with a wood body featuring a sunburst finish on the top and a dark mahogany-colored finish on the back and sides. It features a dark-stained neck and fretboard. The hardware components include six steel strings, open-gear tuners with white plastic buttons, a black plastic pickguard, and a black-finished metal bridge and tailpiece assembly. The headstock displays a gold-colored Carlo Robelli logo with New York and Established 1932 in smaller print. An interior circular gold-toned label is visible through the soundhole, containing the maker's logo, the model W-50-TS, and the handwritten serial number 101140.
